Thought you might like to see some photos. Alex and I went for a walk yesterday during sunset. We walked into town for fika and decided to stay for the film, The Golden Compass, which I liked very much.

Oh it’s gorgeous!! I am so jealous!!
*weeps silently in her office*
Since northern Sweden is part of the “Land of the Midnight Sun”, what time of day were those “sunset” pictures? They are beautiful. Obviously The “Land of the Midnight Sun” refers to late June, so I’m expecting the opposite is true in winter, with sunset being very early, maybe mid-afternoon.
Barry that was about 3 pm.
auntie, do not covet they neighbor’s hood. okay, covet away.
What is this silly expression on your face?
So much snow! 😉 In Vienna is nothing.
And so a nice smiling guy. 🙂
I’ve just started reading “The Golden Compass” series to find out why the Catholic Church and fundagelicals have their feathers all in a knot and have a faith so easily shaken by kiddie literature written by an atheist. I guess the movie version, in search of $, altered the “Magestyrium” so as to be solely political and not “The Church.”
That’s exactly why I read Northen Lights (or The Golden Gompass as it seems to be known these days!) I adored both the first and second books and need to get onto the third one, which is apparently the one all the Christians should be complaining about.
Oh, for the love of God, why mention that you and Alex attended a fika and not show any pictures of that?
Teaser!
joe g: that fika was just to good to share. (or: we had some technical difficulties and screwed things up)
You two are cute! Great photos.
