Peterson Toscano is a theatrical performance activist hoping to make the world a better place one audience at a time. He uses comedy to explore issues around gender, orientation, race, class and the environment. As an ex-gay survivor, he spent 17 years and over $30,000 on three continents attempting to de-gay himself. He failed but lived to tell the story in his comedy "Doin' Time in the Homo No Mo Halfway House—How I Survived the Ex-Gay Movement!" He now has taken on Climate Change as a human rights issue and a source of comedy.
